Fong Wei Wu

There’s a restaurant in Banawe, Quezon City that we’ve been dying to try for two years now, and it’s none other than Fong We Wu. For two years, we’d always pass by the restaurant but never got a chance to eat there because of the limited parking space. So when we heard that it had been awarded “Michelin Guide Selected” for 2026, my husband and I went as soon as we were available.

When: November 24, 2025
Where: Fong Wei Wu, Banawe, Quezon City

What we ate:
  • Seaweeds with egg soup
  • Taiwanese sausage
  • Hong ma
  • Stewed eggs
  • Shrimp with eggs
  • Salted fried chicken

My husband and I went there at 3:30 in the afternoon. The restaurant was full, but we were seated right away, and the food was served promptly. If you’re into Taiwanese cuisine, this is the right restaurant for you. Eating here took me back to Taipei, Taiwan for the fourth time. Out of everything we ordered, my favorites were the Taiwanese sausage and the salted fried chicken.

The question is, will we come back? Of course—yes! We actually returned two weeks later for takeout.

Hello readers!

    Hello dear readers, :)

After being on hiatus for 5 years, I have decided to resume my blogging (yay!). If you're wondering why was I on hiatus, here's why..

It started way before 2017, back when I started working and then my mother died in 2014, I seem to lost my drive to do anything I want or became passionate about. I was so preoccupied with work that I forgot how to draw, how to write, my love for reading, and even play the guitar. For the past 8 years, I was busy with work. Do you imagine what I did during the pandemic? Yes, I worked my ass off. When Covid-19 Pandemic started, I was living in our hospital for 4 months due to lockdowns. So many things happen in those 2 years which I will soon share in my blog.

I remember starting this blog when I was in third year of High School (2004) and being an introvert and having a small circle of friends, blogging helped me cope with school. Blogging helped me express my feelings and what goes on inside my brain. I was able to post a few D-I-Ys and book review.

Now, I want to continue what I love. After finishing my 6 month hospital training, I have been reading books with the help of my kindle (I subscribed to Kindle Unlimited and Audible), I enjoy watching anime and korean dramas 😄. I am currently learning how to play the piano and hopefully will be able to share with all of you my current interests. :)

P.s. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message. :)

Love, Gela.
